Michigan Wolverine Tickets
When fans filter into the Big House each fall, their Michigan Wolverine tickets firmly in hand, they are prepared to watch some of the best football action in the NCAA. And more often than not, the boys in maize and blue oblige. The Wolverines are 40-plus time Big Ten champions on the gridiron and have won more than 800 games and 11 national titles during their illustrious history. Yet, Michigan football is far from the only sport to have brought home a national championship to Ann Arbor. The men's swimming and diving team has won an astonishing 18 titles. Men's hockey has won the title on nine occasions, while the Wolverines basketball team, the men's golf and gymnastics team, and the men's trampoline club have also secured multiple championships. In all, Michigan athletic teams have won 52 team titles. Clearly, then, football isn't the only game in town at the U of M.
Obtaining Other Michigan Wolverine Tickets
So how do you obtain non-football Michigan Wolverine tickets? For many events, such as volleyball, men's and women's gymnastics, wrestling, baseball, softball and individual women's basketball games, single game tickets are available at the gate during the day of the event. Students are admitted free, which non-students are required to pay $5 for adults or $3 for children and senior citizens. No admission is charged for events involving the men's and women's soccer, field hockey, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's track and field teams. Men's basketball and ice hockey, on the other hand, both currently have waiting lists for season ticket purchases. The University also has established a ticket department, which is located in the South Campus athletic complex on South State Street in Ann Arbor. Of course, one could also contact a reputable ticket broker for assistance in obtaining tickets to men's hockey or basketball games.
